Delaware’s CCDF FY25-FY27 Plan has been accepted by the Administration for Children and Families, the federal government agency that manages and oversees the plan and fund.
Attached you will find the final submission that has been accepted as of November 8, 2024. This version includes answers to the public comments that were submitted to Delaware’s Lead Agency by May 31, 2024.
In many cases, there are more detailed answers than the draft plan posted previously. ACF asked the Lead Agency additional questions between July 1, 2024 and September 10, 2024, and those responses are included in this final submission.
This chart (LINK) shows the CCDF FY25-FY27 Public Comment Lead Agency Responses to comments and questions gathered after the draft plan was made public. These comments and questions are from public meetings and the online survey form that was released with the plan draft.
This thematic analysis (LINK) summarizes the CCDF Idea Meetings held by the Lead Agency in winter and spring 2024. These insights informed the current plan, our “Plan of Today.” We will host more meetings about changing our statewide early childhood system to better meet the needs of children and families and edit our CCDF FY25-FY27 Plan to be our “Plan for Tomorrow.”
The Administration for Children and Families has introduced a new Appendix and waiver process that the Lead Agency and partner agencies will pursue before the end of the year. Please check back for an updated timeline on when to sign up for CCDF Idea Meetings to hone our “Plan for Tomorrow.” We look forward to designing with you soon!
