Explore the hidden world and many lives of a garden through the course of a year! Up in the garden, the world is full of green—leaves and sprouts, growing vegetables, ripening fruit. But down in the dirt exists a busy world—earthworms dig, snakes hunt, skunks burrow—populated by all the animals that make a garden their home.

🌻. Up In The Garden And Down In The Dirt – Read Aloud (youtube.com)

  1. Name 5 things you would like to plant in your garden. 2. What’s one thing that’s happening ‘up in the garden’? 3. What’s one thing that’s happening ‘down in the dirt’? 4. What do you need to plant carrots? Name at least 3 things that you would need. 5. Do you think it would be more fun to grow your own vegetables, or buy them at the grocery store?
