Children & Families First, Brain Science Training Institute is approved
by the Delaware Institute for Excellence in Early Childhood to provide
the following training: Toxic Stress & Early Childhood—How Trauma Impacts Children and What You Can Do About It.

This trauma-informed care training provides early childhood providers with
a critical foundation in brain architecture and toxic stress to equip
participants with practical skills to address stress responses in the
classroom. Participants will learn the impact of toxic stress on
development, learning, and behavior, and practice skills to build resiliency
in the educational environment. Participants will further identify self-care
strategies to reduce compassion fatigue and burnout.
