RE: Purchase of Care Billing Guidance for July 2021
POC Rate Increase
The Division of Social Services is pleased to announce there will be a POC rate increase effective July 1, 2021. The new rates will apply to all services performed on July 1st and later. The Purchase of Care reimbursement rate has been increased to 70% of the 75th percentile as established in the 2021 Market Rate Study. Please see the attached chart for the new rates.
Co-payments will continue to be paid by the Division for the month of July. We ask that you do not collect them from your families.
The Division will continue to pay for up to 10 absent days through the month of July.
As previously announced the POC Supplement Reimbursement initiative ends on June 30, 2021. The last supplement payment will be paid to eligible providers at the end of July. Please ensure that all of June’s attendance is entered in the portal no later than the third Monday in July (7/19/21).
Delaware Early Education and Child Care Stabilization Fund
