Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) Re-Organization Information

Hello ECE professionals,

As you may well know, we are excited to be providing Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) to all licensed early childhood programs, at no cost to you! With this expansion of TSG, we are taking this opportunity to re-organize the TSG system on the DOE end. This should not affect your current abilities in any way, including assessment capabilities, report pulling, and access to the Curriculum Cloud (if you have purchased that separately).

However, you may notice some slight changes as a “Standard Administrator”. For instance, within the “Site View”, you may notice that your childcare program is now listed under one of the following programs:

  • Delaware Center-Based Programs
  • Delaware Family Child Care Programs
  • Delaware State-Funded Center-Based Programs
  • Delaware State-Funded Family Child Care Programs
  • Delaware School-Age Center Programs

If you were previously listed as a “Program Level Administrator” for multiple sites, you may also notice a few changes. For example, within the “Program View”, you may receive the message “You do not have administrative access over programs”. Please do not be alarmed, as your site access has not changed. You will still have access to all of your sites and their program information through the “Site View”.

To view this, please log in, click on your initials in the top right corner and click on “Administration”. Please click on “Sites” and you should see all of your center’s sites. From there, you will be able to click on the sites and view users, classes and children.

Let’s recap with everything you need to know:

What is not changing:

  • Your login information or access
  • TS Gold Assessment capabilities
  • Ability & variety of reports that you are able to pull
  • Access to the Curriculum Cloud (if you have purchased it previously)

What is changing:

  • The Program Name that your center, family child care, or school district site is listed under
  • Program view of program level administrators

If you have any questions or find that you are having issues with access, please feel free to contact Brittany Hazzard at brittany.hazzard@doe.k12.de.us

Thank you,
