The Professional Preparation For Early Childhood Educators (PP ECE) Course info

The Professional Preparation for Early Childhood Educators (PP ECE” course is now being offered at Delaware Technical Community College (DTCC)!

  • PP ECE is aligned with the Child Development Associate (CDA) Council’s120 hours of required CDA coursework, and PP ECE is accepted by DEEDS to meet OCCL requirements for teacher certification.
  • PP ECE Participants will create the CDA required portfolio while taking the course.
  • SEED+ eligible participants attend PP ECE at DTCC for free.
  • Those who complete PP ECE successfully can apply to the ECIC for a CDA Voucher Only Scholarship. This scholarship covers the cost of the CDA Exam, CDA Observation, and CDA Portfolio Review.
